How can I be of service to you?
After 30 years of coaching and casting actors in major motion pictures, I realized that I am a wealth of information for artists trying to navigate this wonderful business. As I choose actors to teach, my aim is to create a group of performers who will maintain a higher level of artistry in northern California, an elite tribe of warriors who play.

I have worked for many legendary directors in crazy locations all over the United States. I know what they are searching for in actors who audition for roles in movies and television. It's not what you think...
I work and coach to create a group of actors whose reputations will reach the eyes and ears of incoming local Casting Directors and Directors when they are searching for the very best, even as they weed through the untrained dreamers who only waste their time in the casting offices.
When it comes to acting, I strive to inspire and educate on an almost spiritual level. But don't get me wrong, I'm also a careerist. I am a mentor - but mostly...I am here to inspire.

ONE-HOUR SESSIONS
$40 an hour for each actor/1, 2 or 3 max at a time
As soon as I see your money for the session on PayPal, I will email you a scene or monologue to use as an exercise for using the tools of 'The Method For Film'.
Cancellations within 2 hours of the designated time will be charged the same fee.

This is how I feel when I've planned for a session, cancelled other appointments and scheduled around it, searched for an appropriate scene or monologue and then get a last minute cancellation or 'no show'.
Oh, come on, this is funny.

SCRIPT DOCTOR/CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
My history in the motion picture industry is based in finding actors who can express a truthfulness and edge that puts the audience on the edges of their seats and causes them to lose themselves in the world of the story. So, it figures that my expertise in helping script writers lies in defining and rounding out characters.
I have worked for, and with legends, while casting for film and television. I learned from them the keys to making great stories come alive with characters who live the human condition to its nth degree.
What are these conditions? Well, you’ll have to pay me for that knowledge. You must always give the muse a gift. Mine is money.
Dialogue and co-writing
Rate is dependent on length of the project and amount of involvement on my end.
Characters can be developed through dialogue, set dressing, wardrobe and physical appearance. Of course, all of that matters…but mean nothing if the audience cannot relate and connect with the character on a human, emotional, flawed level. How do you do that? Knowing how to create a character that is alive and vibrant in the world of the story is my gift. Whether evil or angelic in nature, the beauty is in the flaw.
